Telmeros Trio 40/6.25 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of essential hypertension

• Treatment of moderate to severe high blood pressure

• Blood pressure control in resistant hypertension

• Comprehensive cardiovascular risk reduction

• Management of hypertension requiring multiple medications

Follow these instructions while taking Telmeros Trio 40/6.25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You may take it with or without food, but be consistent with your choice.

Telmeros Trio 40/6.25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Telmeros Trio 40/6.25 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): It works as a dual calcium channel blocker. It blocks calcium from entering both the walls of your blood vessels (L-type channels) and your sympathetic nerve endings (N-type channels), causing blood vessels to relax and reducing the activity of your sympathetic nervous system.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): It blocks angiotensin II receptors in your blood vessels. This prevents the hormone angiotensin II from constricting your blood vessels, allowing them to relax and widen, which in turn lowers your blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): Functions as a thiazide-like diuretic, or "water pill". It increases the amount of sodium and water removed from your body through urination, which reduces blood volume and helps lower blood pressure.

• Store Telmeros Trio 40/6.25 Tablet 10 at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Protect from moisture and direct light.

• Store away from children's reach.

• Do not use beyond the expiry date.

• Do not remove tablets from the blister pack until you are ready to use them.

• Maintain a low-sodium diet by limiting salt intake, processed foods, and outside food, as high sodium can worsen high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Engage in regular moderate physical activity like brisk walking for 30 minutes most days, which helps lower blood pressure naturally and improves the effectiveness of your blood pressure medicines.
