Composition

Amlodipine (5 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg)

TELAPP AM TABLET 10 is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, especially when one medicine alone is not enough. Keeping blood pressure controlled helps protect the heart, brain and kidneys and lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke.

It combines amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, and telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that also relaxes the blood vessels. Take it daily, with or without food, as prescribed, and keep taking it even when you feel well.

Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.

Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. Avoid this medicine in pregnancy. Ankle swelling can occur; report it if troublesome, along with marked dizziness.
