Swich 200 Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Antacids containing sodium bicarbonate or aluminium hydroxide. The concomitant use may reduce the absorption of this tablet in the body.
• Uricosuric agents to treat chronic gout and gouty arthritis, such as probenecid. The concomitant use can slow down the process of your kidneys eliminating this tablet. This leads to an increase of cefpodoxime in your blood.
• Nephrotoxic drugs such as aminoglycosides and amphotericin B should be given with caution along with this medicine due to risk of nephrotoxicity.

Swich 200 Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• Liver disease: This tablet can further damage the liver.
• Kidney dysfunction: The elimination of this tablet is reduced in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment.
• Colitis (Inflammation of the colon): This tablet may cause diarrhoea that can range from mild to fatal.

Take the daily dose of Swich 200 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you take an excessive Swich 200 Tablet by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
