Soframycin Cream 100gm

Soframycin Cream is used in treating bacterial skin infections such as infected cuts, wounds, burns, scrapes, and boils. It helps control bacterial growth, reduces redness and swelling, and supports faster healing of minor skin injuries and secondary infections.

Follow these instructions while using Soframycin Skin Cream:

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Use soap and water to wash the area, then pat it dry with a clean towel.
• Apply a thin layer of Soframycin Skin Cream to the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.
• The quantity of cream needed will depend on the size of the affected area.
• Gently spread the cream on your skin, ensuring you cover all of the infected area with a very thin layer.
• Remember to wash your hands after applying the cream to prevent any potential spread of infection.

Soframycin Skin Cream is applied topically.

Soframycin Skin Cream contains three active components:

• Framycetin Sulphate (1 %): This aminoglycoside antibiotic binds itself irreversibly to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, impeding protein synthesis. The disruption of this normal function leads to bacterial cell death.
• Methyl Paraben (0.08 %): It is a type of paraben used as a preservative in many pharmaceutical preparations. It helps prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and mould, thereby prolonging the product's shelf life.
• Propyl Paraben (0.04 %): Like methyl paraben, propyl paraben is also a preservative that helps in maintaining the longevity and effectiveness of the cream by preventing microbial contamination.

• Store Soframycin Skin Cream at temperatures below 25°C.
• Avoid freezing the cream.
• Keep the cream in a dry place away from direct light and heat.
