Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7 should be used only if clearly needed and if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk to the unborn child.
 

Metformin is excreted in breast milk in small amounts, and it is not known whether saxagliptin passes into breast milk. Use of this tablet during breastfeeding is not recommended unless advised by your doctor.
 

Alcohol increases the risk of lactic acidosis when taken with metformin. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while using Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7.
 

Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7 is not recommended in patients with significant liver impairment, as this increases the risk of lactic acidosis. Inform your doctor of any liver problems.
 

Metformin is eliminated through the kidneys. It is contraindicated in patients with kidney impairment or reduced kidney function. Regular monitoring of renal parameters is required.
 

Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7 may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Do not drive, cycle, or operate heavy machinery if affected.
 

Do not use Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7 if you are allergic to metformin, saxagliptin, or any excipients. Stop the medicine immediately if you develop rash, swelling, difficulty in breathing, or other allergy symptoms.
 

Riaxm Xr 5/500 MG Tablet 7 is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age

Elderly patients may be more prone to reduced kidney function and should be closely monitored. Dose adjustments may be required.
