Reclide MR 60 Tablet is used in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Reclide MR 60 Tablet contains Gliclazide (60 mg) which works on your body in the following ways:

• Stimulates Insulin Secretion: Gliclazide encourages the pancreas to release more insulin, a hormone that helps the body use glucose properly.

• Closes ATP-Sensitive Potassium Channels: Gliclazide interacts with certain channels in the cells of your pancreas, causing them to close and releasing more insulin.

• Increases Intracellular Calcium: By closing these channels, Gliclazide triggers an increase in calcium within the cells. This increase contributes to further stimulation of insulin release from pancreatic beta cells.
