Rbson Capsule 10

Rbson Capsule 10 is primarily used to treat:

• Managing symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, where stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing discomfort
• Relieving heartburn resulting from excess stomach acid
• Alleviating chest pain linked to gastroesophageal reflux disease
• Reducing nausea associated with acid reflux
• Healing esophageal damage caused by acid reflux
• Preventing further esophageal injury from stomach acid

• Swallow the entire capsule without crushing or breaking it. 
• It is best to take this medicine about 30 minutes before having food.

Rbson Capsule 10 is taken orally. 

Rbson Capsule 10 contains the following component:

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): Rabeprazole, an antisecretory agent and a substituted benzimidazole, functions as a proton pump inhibitor without anticholinergic or H2-receptor antagonist properties. It reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+ and K+ ATPase enzymes on the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells. This enzyme acts as the acid (proton) pump in parietal cells, making rabeprazole an effective gastric proton pump inhibitor by blocking the final stage of acid production.

The storage instructions for Rbson Capsule 10 are as follows:

• Rbson Capsule 10 should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• To help prevent acidity, avoid sitting for long periods—take a short break every hour to walk or stretch. 
• Limit intake of high-fat foods, spicy dishes, chocolate, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomatoes, onions, garlic, tea, and soda. 
• Practice relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation to manage stress, which can aggravate acid reflux. 
• Choose loose clothing to reduce abdominal pressure, and avoid lying down right after meals to minimize reflux. 
• Regular exercise aids weight management, lowering the risk of acid reflux. Also, avoid smoking and alcohol, as both can increase stomach acid levels and cause heartburn.
