Ranipep D 10/150 Mg Tablet 10 is used to manage gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcer disease, and to relieve heartburn, stomach pain, irritation and indigestion. It eases discomfort by improving stomach movement and reducing acid.
It contains ranitidine, an H2-receptor antagonist that reduces stomach acid, and domperidone, a prokinetic that improves the movement of the stomach and gut.
Take it by mouth as directed by your doctor, and complete the course advised.
Ranitidine has faced regulatory restrictions and recalls in several countries because some batches contained an impurity called NDMA. Use it only if your doctor has specifically advised it, and tell your doctor about any heart rhythm problems, as domperidone can rarely affect the heart rhythm.
