Rabegard D Tablet is used to manage GERD, heal duodenal ulcers, and support H. pylori eradication when combined with antibiotics, and to treat conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Uses of Rabegard D Tablet are:

• GERD and Heartburn: Reduces stomach acid and relieves reflux symptoms.
• Duodenal Ulcers: Supports healing and helps prevent recurrence when combined with antibiotics for H. pylori.
• Hypersecretory Conditions: Manages excess acid production, including in Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Here's how you should take Rabegard D Tablet 10:

• Take the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, break, or split it.
• It's advisable to take this medicine before meals, preferably in the morning.
• Don't stop taking this medicine unless recommended by your doctor.

Rabegard D Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Rabegard D Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, rabeprazole works by blocking an enzyme system in your stomach cells that helps produce acid. By inhibiting this enzyme system known as H+/K+-ATPase, it reduces gastric acid secretion.
• Domperidone (10 mg): This ingredient acts as an antiemetic and prokinetic agent. It blocks dopamine receptors in a specific area of your brain outside the blood-brain barrier called the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), reducing nausea and vomiting. Domperidone also improves movements or contractions of the stomach and intestines, thus aiding in faster digestion.

• Store Rabegard D Tablet 10 in a dry, cool place.
• Keep the medicine out of direct sunlight and moisture.
• Store it out of reach of children.

• If you suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), avoid eating large meals; smaller, frequent meals can help manage your symptoms.
• Try to avoid lying down immediately after eating; this may help prevent the backflow of stomach acid into your oesophagus, reducing GERD symptoms.
