Plermin Gel 7.5gm

Plermin Gel 7.5gm is used for:

• Promotion of healing of lower-extremity diabetic neuropathic ulcers
• Adjunct treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, when used with appropriate wound care

Follow these instructions while applying Plermin Gel 7.5gm:

• Apply the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Clean the wound gently before applying the medicine.
• Apply the prescribed amount of gel once daily to the ulcer surface as directed by your doctor. The amount applied is usually based on the size of the wound.
• Cover the treated ulcer with a moist saline dressing after application, as advised by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine.
• Use the medicine regularly for the full treatment duration recommended by your doctor.

Plermin Gel 7.5gm is for topical use.

Plermin Gel 7.5gm contains the following active component:

• Recombinant Human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB (0.01%): This growth factor stimulates the migration and proliferation of cells involved in wound healing, including fibroblasts and endothelial cells. It promotes the formation of new blood vessels and connective tissue, helping support the repair and regeneration of damaged tissue in diabetic neuropathic foot ulcers.

• Store below 25°C or as directed on the label.
• Keep the container tightly closed.
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Maintain proper wound hygiene and follow wound-care instructions carefully.
• Keep the wound clean and covered as advised by your healthcare provider.
• Control blood sugar levels if you have diabetes to support wound healing.
• Avoid smoking, as it may slow down the healing process.
