It contains cyproheptadine, an antihistamine that also affects appetite signals. It works by blocking histamine to ease allergy symptoms and by increasing the desire to eat.
Take it as prescribed. It may cause drowsiness, so take care with driving.
Tell your doctor about any glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or breathing problems before use.
