Pcoxib Capsule is used to relieve osteoarthritis pain.

Uses of Pcoxib Capsule are:

Follow these instructions while taking Pcoxib Capsule 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not open, crush, or chew the capsule.

• Take this medicine with food to reduce stomach upset.

Pcoxib Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Pcoxib Capsule 10 contains polmacoxib (2 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Selective COX-2 Inhibition: Polmacoxib specifically targets and blocks the COX-2 enzyme in your body, which is responsible for producing inflammatory substances called prostaglandins.

• Prostaglandin Reduction: By blocking the COX-2 enzyme, polmacoxib decreases the production of prostaglandins at sites of inflammation, helping to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation in affected joints.

• Gastrointestinal Protection: Unlike traditional NSAIDs that block both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, polmacoxib's selective action on COX-2 means it has less effect on the protective COX-1 enzyme in the stomach lining, potentially reducing the risk of stomach irritation.

• Store at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.
