Pan 20 Tablet is used to manage conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive oesophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and peptic ulcers.
It contains pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the enzyme responsible for producing stomach acid. Take the tablet 30 to 60 minutes before a meal, as prescribed by your doctor, and swallow it whole without crushing or chewing.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding spicy, oily or acidic foods, limiting caffeine and carbonated drinks, and not lying down immediately after eating can help support recovery alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver disease or other medicines you are taking. Your doctor may monitor your magnesium levels and bone density if you need to take this medicine for a long time.
