CompositionOmesec 20 Capsule is used to treat acid-related conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), heartburn, acid indigestion, and peptic ulcers. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach, protecting the intestinal lining and promoting tissue healing.
It contains omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. Take the capsule before meals, preferably in the morning, swallowing it whole with water without crushing or chewing. Follow your doctor's instructions on dose and duration strictly.
To complement your treatment, consider making lifestyle adjustments such as avoiding spicy or fatty foods, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, and eating smaller, more frequent meals. Maintaining an upright position for a few hours after eating can also help prevent acid reflux.
