NVM-M12 RF Injection is used for the following:

• Treatment of pernicious anaemia

• Management of macrocytic anaemia

• Correction of vitamin B12 deficiency

• Prevention of neurological damage from B12 deficiency

• Supporting patients with gastrointestinal malabsorption

• Addressing vitamin deficiencies in alcoholism

• Supplementing vitamins in liver disorders

• Managing vitamin deficiencies in kidney disorders

• Correcting nutritional imbalances in homocystinuria

• Supporting patients with medication-induced vitamin deficiencies

• Addressing vitamin B3 deficiency

• Treating vitamin B6 deficiency

Follow these instructions when NVM-M12 RF Injection is administered:

• This medicine should only be administered by a qualified doctor or nurse.

• The injection may be given through a muscle, under the skin, or slowly into a vein.

• The injection site should be cleaned with an antiseptic before administration.

• After administration, apply gentle pressure to the injection site with a cotton ball.

• Keep a record of when you receive each injection.

• Attend all scheduled appointments for your injections.

NVM-M12 RF Injection is administered via intramuscular, subcutaneous or slow intravenous routes.

NVM-M12 RF Injection contains four components that work together to correct vitamin deficiencies:

• Mecobalamin (1000 mcg): This active form of vitamin B12 plays a crucial role in red blood cell formation, proper neurological function, and DNA synthesis in the body.

• Pyridoxine (100 mg): This form of vitamin B6 is vital for protein and amino acid metabolism, supports the synthesis of neurotransmitters (brain chemicals), and helps with immune function and haemoglobin formation.

• Nicotinamide (100 mg): Works as a precursor for important coenzymes called NAD and NADP that are essential for cellular energy production in your body.

• Benzyl alcohol (2 mg): Serves as a preservative and solubilising agent in the injection to maintain the stability and effectiveness of the other components.

• Store NVM-M12 RF Injection in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C.

• Keep the medicine away from bright light and moisture.

• Always ensure that the medicine is out of reach of children.

• It is crucial to utilise this medicine before its expiry date.

• Vitamin B-rich foods: Include more eggs, dairy, fish, poultry, leafy greens and whole grains in your diet to support the action of NVM-M12 RF Injection in correcting vitamin B deficiencies and improving nerve function.

• Limit alcohol consumption: Reducing alcohol intake helps prevent further vitamin B depletion, particularly of vitamin B12 and B6, which are essential for proper nervous system functioning.
