Nore T Tablet 10 is a combination medicine used to treat diarrhoea and dysentery caused by bacterial or parasitic intestinal infections.
It contains norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and tinidazole, an antiprotozoal agent. Take it with food as prescribed to lessen stomach discomfort. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve early, to prevent infection recurrence.
Hydration and dietary support are essential during recovery from infectious diarrhoea. Drink plenty of safe fluids such as oral rehydration solutions, clear broths, and boiled water, and eat light, non-spicy meals.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have tendon disorders, neurological conditions, liver disease, or heart problems. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine and for a few days after as tinidazole can cause severe flushing or vomiting. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
