Norflox-TZ Tablet is used to treat bacterial diarrhoea and dysentery caused by bacterial or parasitic infections. It helps reduce frequent loose motions, abdominal discomfort, and restores normal bowel function during gastrointestinal infections.

Here's how you should take Norflox-TZ RF Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

Norflox-TZ RF Tablet comprises two active components:

• Norfloxacin (400 mg): This fluoroquinolone antibiotic acts by obstructing enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV in bacteria. These enzymes are responsible for cell division and repair in bacteria. By inhibiting these enzymes, norfloxacin prevents these processes, leading to bacterial cell death.
• Tinidazole (600 mg): As a nitroimidazole antibiotic, tinidazole damages the DNA of susceptible parasites and anaerobic bacteria. This action causes their destruction.

The combined activity of these two antibiotics offers a broad spectrum of action against the pathogens causing infection.
