Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults, helping to reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes and related complications.

Uses of Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 are:

• High Cholesterol: Reduces harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL (good) cholesterol.
• Heart Disease Prevention: Helps prevent complications such as heart attack and stroke by managing cholesterol levels over time.

• Take Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• You can take it at any time of day, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Keep taking it even when you feel well, and do not stop without talking to your doctor. High cholesterol usually has no symptoms.

Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 is taken orally.

Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 contains Atorvastatin 10 mg, a cholesterol-lowering medicine. It works in the following ways:

• It blocks an enzyme in the liver (HMG-CoA reductase) that is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the body.
• This leads to reduced cholesterol production in the liver.
• It also increases the expression of LDL receptors in the liver, enhancing the clearance of circulating lipids from the blood.

• Store Atrolet 10 Tablet 20 below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Eat a heart-healthy diet with plenty of vegetables, fruit and whole grains, and limit saturated and fried foods.
• Be active. Aim for about 30 minutes of activity, such as brisk walking, on most days, and keep to a healthy weight.
• Do not smoke, and limit alcohol.
