Nor-TZ Tablet is used to treat infections of the digestive system caused by bacteria and parasites, along with certain other infections.

Uses of Nor-TZ Tablet are:

• Gastrointestinal Infections: Clears other infections of the digestive tract that cause abdominal discomfort and loose stools.

Nor-TZ Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It should not be taken by any other route.

Nor-T Z Tablet contains two active ingredients: Norfloxacin and Tinidazole.

• Norfloxacin, which belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics, inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria in the body by interfering with their DNA replication process.
• Tinidazole, classified as an antimicrobial drug from the nitroimidazole group, damages the DNA of parasites and anaerobic (oxygen-free) bacteria, leading to their destruction.
• Together, these two components effectively target and eliminate the pathogens responsible for infections such as diarrhea and dysentery (stool containing blood and mucus).
