Nor-Metrogyl Plus Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Antidiabetic agents such as insulin and glibenclamide. The concomitant use can result in low blood sugar. 
• Stomach acid reducers such as cimetidine. The concomitant use results in increased blood concentration of this tablet.
• Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine and methotrexate. The concomitant use results in increased blood concentration of these medications.
• Antigout medications such as probenecid. Using probenecid together with this tablet can impact the elimination of these medicines through the kidneys.
• Bronchodilators such as theophylline. The concomitant use can increase the levels of theophylline in blood.
• Anticoagulants such as warfarin. The concomitant use can increase the time it takes for your blood to clot.
• Antiarrhythmics such as quinidine and disopyramide. This tablet should be avoided in patients using these heart medications.
• Medicines or dietary supplements containing iron or zinc. It can affect the absorption of this tablet.
• Sucralfate used for stomach ulcers. Nor-Metrogyl Plus Tablet can affect the absorption of this tablet.
• Antacids containing magnesium or aluminium. Nor-Metrogyl Plus Tablet can affect the absorption of this tablet.
• Corticosteroids. The concomitant use of corticosteroids may increase the risk of swelling of the tendons with pain and tenderness.
• Anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or diclofenac. The concomitant use can make you more prone to fits.

Nor-Metrogyl Plus Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• History of seizures: This tablet should be cautiously used in patients with a history of seizures and epilepsy. It may rarely cause fits and aggravate the existing condition.
• Liver impairment: It may aggravate the existing liver impairment. 
• Kidney impairment: This tablet may cause kidney problems and aggravate the existing condition. A lower dose may be required in patients with kidney impairment.
• Tendonitis: This tablet may increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture.
• Low blood potassium (hypokalemia): This tablet may exacerbate irregular heartbeats in patients with low blood potassium.
