Moxilong-0.3 Tablet is used for the management of hypertension (persistently high blood pressure) and to prevent serious complications associated with hypertension, including heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and kidney problems.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Always follow your doctor's instructions about dosage and duration.

• Without consulting your doctor, don't stop taking this medicine or change the dose.

Moxilong-0.3 Tablet contains Moxonidine (0.3 mg) which acts on your body through the following mechanisms:

• Stimulates Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptors: Moxonidine works by stimulating specific receptors known as alpha-2 adrenergic receptors located in an area of your brain called the brainstem.

• Reduces Sympathetic Nervous System Activity: By stimulating these receptors, Moxonidine helps to decrease activity in your sympathetic nervous system part of your nervous system that controls "fight or flight" responses including heart rate and blood pressure.

• Relaxes Blood Vessels: The reduced activity in the sympathetic nervous system leads to relaxation of blood vessels throughout your body.

• Lowers Blood Pressure: As a result of this relaxation, there is less resistance to blood flow within the blood vessels, which effectively leads to a decrease in blood pressure.

• Store Moxilong-0.3 Tablet in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture.
