Monteder L Tablet 10

Monteder L Tablet is used for the following:

• Preventing asthma symptoms such as wheezing, cough, chest tightness and shortness of breath

• Providing relief from symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, itchy or runny nose and throat, and watery eyes

• Managing symptoms of seasonal allergies

• Handling symptoms of year-round allergies

Here's how you should take Monteder L Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Try to take the tablet at the same time each day for consistent effect.

• Continue taking the tablet even if your symptoms improve, to keep them in check.

• Remember to consult your doctor if you have any questions about how to use this medicine.

Monteder L Tablet is taken orally.

Monteder L Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (5 mg): This antihistamine works by selectively inhibiting H1 histamine receptors in your body. Histamine is a naturally occurring substance that triggers allergic symptoms when released in the body. By blocking its action, levocetirizine effectively prevents these symptoms from appearing.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This leukotriene receptor antagonist functions by interrupting the actions of leukotrienes, or inflammatory chemicals produced by your body. Leukotrienes play a role in swelling up and tightening airways in the lungs and can lead to allergy symptoms. By blocking leukotriene receptors, particularly LTD4 at the CysLT1 receptor, montelukast reduces inflammation and constriction in the airways.

Together, the ingredients work to manage allergy symptoms and prevent asthma attacks.

• Store Monteder L Tablet safely at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.

• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
