Metozane 2.5 Tablet 10

Metozane 2.5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of fluid retention (oedema)

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Reducing swelling due to heart failure

• Relieving fluid buildup from kidney disorders

• Managing oedema associated with nephrotic syndrome

• Reducing excess fluid in patients with impaired kidney function

• Lowering blood pressure when other medicines are not enough

• Supporting treatment of severe heart failure

• Controlling fluid retention in liver problems

Follow these instructions while taking Metozane 2.5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine with or without food as advised by your doctor.

Metozane 2.5 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Metozane 2.5 Tablet 10 contains Metolazone (2.5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Diuretic Action: Metolazone acts on specific parts of your kidneys to increase the excretion of salt (sodium) and water into your urine.

• Blood Volume Reduction: By promoting the elimination of salt and water, this medicine decreases the total volume of blood circulating in your body.
