Medac D Tablet 10 is a combination medicine used to relieve fever, body pain and joint stiffness. It combines a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with paracetamol for pain and fever relief, and serratiopeptidase, an enzyme that helps reduce inflammation and swelling.
This medicine is effective in relieving mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, muscle aches, back pain and menstrual cramps. It may also help relieve pain and inflammation associated with arthritis, injury or recovery after surgery.
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed, preferably after food, to reduce the chance of stomach upset. Do not exceed the recommended dose, as this can raise the risk of liver damage or stomach irritation.
If you experience stomach upset, feeling sick, or a skin rash, consult your doctor promptly. Continue the medicine for the full prescribed duration to effectively manage your symptoms, and tell your doctor about any other medicines or conditions you have. Evidence that the added enzyme accelerates tissue healing is limited; it should be described only as a possible adjunct for swelling.
