Mahazin-FX Tablet is used to manage allergies and protect the airways.

Uses of Mahazin-FX Tablet are:

• Allergic Rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, a runny nose and itching in hay fever.
• Chronic Hives: Eases the itching, redness and swelling of hives.
• Exercise-Induced Symptoms: Helps prevent exercise-induced narrowing of the airways.

Follow these instructions while taking Mahazin-FX Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Refrain from crushing, chewing or breaking the tablet.

• Take the medicine in the evening with or without food, as per your convenience.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by your doctor.

Mahazin-FX Tablet is taken orally.

Mahazin-FX Tablet is a combination medicine consisting of two active ingredients:

• Fexofenadine (120 mg): This ingredient acts as a potent H1-receptor antagonist. It blocks the action of histamine, a chemical messenger that triggers allergic symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. Because Fexofenadine does not cross the blood-brain barrier significantly, it causes less drowsiness compared to some other antihistamines.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This component is a selective and orally active leukotriene receptor antagonist. It inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptor. By blocking leukotrienes, montelukast improves control over asthma and reduces inflammation in the airways.

• Keep Mahazin-FX Tablet at room temperature.

• Protect the medicine from moisture; a dry place is best for storage. Avoid storing it in the bathroom due to humidity.

• Make sure the medicine is out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date on the pack and use before this date.

• If you suffer from hay fever or other allergies, try to avoid triggers like dust, pollen, and pet dander, which can exacerbate symptoms. Stay indoors on high pollen days if possible.

• A healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help boost your immune system. Try to include vitamin C-rich foods like oranges and strawberries, which are known to have anti-allergy properties.
