Mahamox CV Drops is a medicine used to treat bacterial infections in children, including infections of the respiratory tract, ear, urinary tract, skin, and teeth. It helps reduce fever, inflammation, and discomfort caused by the infection.
It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, combined with clavulanic acid, which helps the antibiotic work against a wider range of bacteria. Give the drops to your child using the measuring device provided, as prescribed by the doctor. Complete the full course even if your child starts feeling better, to help prevent the infection from returning.
Ensure your child gets adequate rest and stays well hydrated during treatment. Avoid giving any other antibiotics or leftover medicines without consulting the doctor first.
Before giving this medicine, tell the doctor if your child has any allergy to penicillin, or any kidney or liver problems. Contact the doctor if your child develops a severe skin rash, persistent diarrhoea, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
