Lynx Gel 15gm is used for the following:

• Reducing the growth of Cuti bacterium acnes: This bacterium contributes significantly to the development of acne.
• Alleviating inflammatory acne lesions: These are red, swollen bumps on the skin caused by inflammation.

Use Lynx Gel 15gm as follows:

• Before application, clean and dry the affected skin area.
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.
• The amount needed will depend on the size of the area needing treatment.
• Gently massage the product onto your skin.
• Wash your hands after applying to prevent spreading bacteria to other areas.

Lynx Gel 15gm comprises Lincomycin (2%), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Blocking Protein Synthesis: Lincomycin inhibits protein production in bacteria. It does this by binding to a particular part of the bacterial cell known as the 50S ribosomal subunit and interfering with a process called peptidyl transferase reaction. This hampers the growth of peptide chains which are essential for bacterial protein synthesis.
• Reducing Bacterial Load: The disruption of bacterial protein production effectively halts the growth and replication of bacteria. Thus, Lincomycin reduces the presence of acne-causing bacteria such as Cuti bacterium acnes on the skin surface, which helps manage infection and inflammation associated with acne lesions.

• Keep Lynx Gel 15gm stored below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use, to avoid exposure to air and moisture.
• Do not store it in the freezer.
