Linaligold M 2.5/1000 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Linagliptin (2.5 mg): This component belongs to the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor class. It blocks an enzyme called DPP-4, which normally breaks down incretin hormones in your body. By preserving these hormones, linagliptin helps your pancreas release more insulin when blood sugar is high and reduces glucose production by the liver.

• Metformin (1000 mg): As a biguanide, metformin works in multiple ways to lower blood glucose.
