Ketotag Syrup 60ml is used for the following:

You should take Ketotag Syrup 60ml in the following way: 

• Use the provided cup to measure your dose accurately.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Always keep the bottle tightly capped after each use.
• Note that this medicine contains sugar, so if you have diabetes, consult your doctor before use.

Ketotag Syrup 60ml is taken orally.

Ketotag Syrup 60ml contains ketotifen (1 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Histamine Blocking: Ketotifen prevents histamine, a substance in your body that causes allergic symptoms, from attaching to cells and triggering allergic reactions.
• Prevention of Inflammatory Mediator Release: It stops the release of various substances from cells called mast cells that would otherwise cause inflammation in your lungs and airways.
• Anti-inflammatory Action: By reducing the inflammatory response in your respiratory system, ketotifen helps decrease the swelling and irritation that make breathing difficult during asthma attacks.
• Stabilisation of Mast Cells: Ketotifen works by stabilising special cells in your body (mast cells) that, when triggered by allergens, would normally release chemicals causing allergic symptoms.

• Store at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C).
• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Store in a safe place out of reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
