K Fung Cream 30gm contains ketoconazole (2 %), which has the following effects on your body:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole works by blocking the formation of ergosterol in fungal cells. Ergosterol is crucial for maintaining the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane.
• Increases Cell Membrane Permeability: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, ketoconazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane. This leads to leakage and loss of essential cellular contents.
• Causes Fungal Cell Death: Following increased permeability and leakage of cellular contents, fungal cells are unable to survive and eventually die.
• Reduces Symptoms: In addition to its antifungal action, ketoconazole also has anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce symptoms associated with fungal infections.
