HEALTUSS COFGEL CAPSULE 10 is used for the following:

• Easing cough symptoms associated with the common cold
• Helping manage runny nose experienced with hay fever
• Reducing sneezing due to upper respiratory allergies
• Alleviating itchy throat caused by common cold or allergies

• Swallow the whole capsule with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
• Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not change your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

HEALTUSS COFGEL CAPSULE 10 is taken orally.

HEALTUSS COFGEL CAPSULE 10 is a combination medicine that works in the following ways:

• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): This ingredient acts as a cough suppressant. It targets the cough centre in your brain called the medulla. By doing so, it decreases your urge to cough.
• Phenylephrine (5 mg): This is a decongestant that constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages. This action reduces inflammation and swelling, which helps decrease nasal congestion and improves breathing.
• Chlorpheniramine (2 mg): An antihistamine component that blocks the effects of histamine, a substance in your body that causes allergic symptoms. By competing for receptor sites in different parts of your body, like the gastrointestinal tract, blood vessels, and respiratory tract, it reduces symptoms like sneezing, itching, and a runny nose.
