Glymia 1m Sr Tablet 10 is used in the following conditions: 

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Supporting diet and exercise efforts to manage type 2 diabetes in adults
• Helping to prevent post-meal blood sugar spikes in adults with type 2 diabetes

You should take Glymia 1m Sr Tablet 10 in the following way: 

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Avoid crushing, chewing, or splitting the tablet
• Do not exceed the dose recommended by your doctor
• Always consult your doctor before discontinuing this medication

Glymia 1m Sr Tablet 10 is taken orally. 

Glymia 1m Sr Tablet 10 contains the following component:

• Glimepiride (1 mg): Glimepiride is part of a medication group called sulfonylureas, which works by stimulating the pancreas to produce and release more insulin. This action helps lower blood glucose levels by increasing the transport of glucose from the bloodstream into the body’s cells for energy.
• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin belongs to the biguanide class. It lowers blood glucose by reducing the liver's production of glucose and enhancing the cells' sensitivity to insulin. Additionally, it slows the absorption of glucose from the intestines, leading to lower blood glucose levels overall.

The storage instructions for Glymia 1m Sr Tablet 10 are as follows:

• Store this tablet at room temperature, around 25°C, and protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use this medication once it has passed its expiry date.

• Engage in physical activities such as cycling, walking, jogging, dancing, or swimming for at least 30 minutes daily, aiming for a minimum of 150 minutes of exercise each week.
