Glycolate 2 Tablet is used to manage peptic ulcers in the stomach and small intestine. It is a single-ingredient anticholinergic medicine containing glycopyrrolate.
It helps reduce excessive stomach acid production and eases painful muscle spasms in the digestive tract. Take it by mouth, usually before meals, swallowing it whole with water in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it for the entire duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
Eat smaller, balanced meals and avoid triggers such as tea, coffee, alcohol and spicy dishes to support stomach comfort.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, kidney problems, an enlarged prostate, difficulty passing urine or heart conditions, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Contact your doctor promptly if you notice severe dry mouth, blurred vision, difficulty passing urine or a rapid heart rate. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
