Glycolate 2 Tablet is used to manage peptic ulcers in the stomach and small intestine. It helps reduce excessive stomach acid production and eases painful muscle spasms in the digestive tract.
It contains glycopyrrolate, an anticholinergic agent. Take this tablet by mouth as prescribed by your doctor, usually before meals. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Continue taking the medicine for the entire duration prescribed, even if your symptoms improve.
Eating smaller, balanced meals and avoiding foods that trigger stomach irritation, such as caffeinated beverages, alcohol, and spicy dishes, can support stomach comfort during treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, kidney problems, enlarged prostate, urinary retention, or heart conditions. Contact your doctor promptly if you experience severe dry mouth, blurred vision, difficulty urinating, or rapid heart rate.
