Glocan Cream 30gm is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea), athlete’s foot, jock itch, pityriasis versicolor, and cutaneous candidiasis. It stops fungal growth, easing itching, redness, and irritation to promote faster healing. For external use only—apply as directed and complete the course to help prevent relapse.

To ensure effective use of Glocan Cream 30gm, follow these steps:

• Keep the area of application clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of Glocan Cream 30gm on the affected part and its surrounding skin as directed by the physician.
• Rub gently till it is fully absorbed into the skin.
• Always wash your hands after application to avoid spreading the infection.
• Replace the cap tightly and close it after use.
• Do not accept if the seal is broken.

Glocan Cream 30gm contains clotrimazole (1%). This active ingredient works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Clotrimazole blocks the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes.
• Causes Fungal Cell Death: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, clotrimazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to leakage of essential cell components and ultimately causing cell death.
• Broad-Spectrum Antifungal Activity: Clotrimazole has fungistatic and fungicidal activity against a wide range of fungal species, including dermatophytes, yeasts, and Malassezia species.
