Foly Act Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing folate deficiency anaemia as it can cause symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, and difficulty concentrating
• Preventing neural tube defects in unborn babies when consumed by pregnant women
• Assisting in the management of megaloblastic anaemia, a type of anaemia where red blood cells are larger than normal
• Supplementing folate levels in individuals with malabsorption disorders or chronic haemolytic states
• Acting as an adjunctive aid for certain medicines that may decrease folate levels, like methotrexate

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
• The medicine can be taken with or without food, according to your preference.
• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without discussing it with your doctor first.

Foly Act Tablet 10 contains folic acid (5 mg), which acts on the body as follows:

• Converts to Active Folate: Once absorbed, folic acid changes into the active form of folate known as tetrahydrofolate (THF).
