Fluticort F 6mcg/125mcg Inhaler 120mdi is used for the regular maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults and adolescents. It helps prevent and control long-term breathing difficulties, such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
It contains a combination of fluticasone and formoterol. It should be used regularly every day as prescribed, even when you feel well and have no active breathing symptoms. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out after each use to help prevent fungal infections in the mouth and throat.
Lifestyle measures can further support lung health alongside inhaler therapy. These include avoiding known asthma triggers, avoiding tobacco smoke and outdoor pollutants, and maintaining clean indoor air.
Before using this inhaler, inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or fungal infections. It is not intended for the immediate relief of sudden asthma attacks; a separate rescue inhaler should be used for sudden breathlessness.
