Fluticort F 6mcg/125mcg Inhaler 120mdi is used in the daily maintenance and long-term control of airway inflammation and breathing discomfort in persistent asthma and COPD.

Uses of Fluticort F 6mcg/125mcg Inhaler 120mdi are:

• Asthma Maintenance: Provides ongoing daily control to prevent asthma attacks, wheezing, and chest tightness.
• COPD Management: Reduces long-term breathlessness and airway inflammation in chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
• Airway Protection: Improves overall lung function and daily breathing capacity in chronic respiratory conditions.

Follow these instructions while using Fluticort F 6mcg/125mcg Inhaler 120mdi:

• Remove the mouthpiece cover and check that it is clean and dry.

• Breathe out gently and fully before using the inhaler.

• Place the mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips around it.

• While breathing in deeply and slowly, press the top of the inhaler fully.

• Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

• Wait for at least 30 seconds before taking a second puff if required.

• Replace the mouthpiece cover after use.

• Rinse your mouth with water after using the inhaler to reduce the risk of oral thrush.

Fluticort F 6mcg/125mcg Inhaler 120mdi contains two active ingredients:

• Fluticasone Propionate (125 mcg): This synthetic corticosteroid works by binding to glucocorticoid receptors in the lungs and slowing the release of inflammatory mediators from cells like mast cells and eosinophils. This action reduces airway swelling and mucus production in the airways.

• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): As a selective long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist, formoterol stimulates beta2 receptors in the lungs. This activates an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase, which increases levels of cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) within cells. The increased cyclic AMP causes smooth muscle relaxation in the airways and slows the release of inflammatory substances.
