Fibrate 200 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Fibrate 200 MG Tablet 10:

• Take this medicine with a meal for better absorption.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, split, dissolve or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine regularly at the same time each day.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's nearly time for your next dose.

• Continue taking this medicine even when you feel well.

• Store this medicine at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Fibrate 200 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Fibrate 200 MG Tablet 10 contains Fenofibrate (200 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• PPARα activation: Fenofibrate activates a protein called peroxisome Proliferator activated receptor α (PPARα), which regulates how fats are processed in your body.

• Triglyceride reduction: It increases the breakdown of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins like Very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), leading to enhanced removal of triglycerides from your blood.

• LDL cholesterol decrease: Fenofibrate reduces the production of VLDL and LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol in the liver, helping lower your "bad" cholesterol levels.

• HDL cholesterol increase: It raises levels of HDL (high-density lipoprotein) or "good" cholesterol by increasing its production and slowing down its breakdown in your body.

• Store Fibrate 200 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature.

• Keep in its original packaging, tightly closed.

• Protect from excess heat and moisture; do not store in the bathroom.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
