Favros F Tablet 10

Favros F Tablet 10 is used for managing the following conditions:

• Hyperlipidemia
• Primary hypercholesterolemia
• Mixed dyslipidaemia
• Hypertriglyceridemia
• hypercholesterolemia

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Favros F Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Favros F Tablet 10 is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): It is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. It works by slowing down cholesterol production, reducing the buildup of cholesterol on artery walls, and preventing potential blockages that could impede blood flow to the heart, brain, and other body parts.
• Fenofibrate (160 mg): It is a fibric acid derivative. Fenofibrate activates a receptor called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα). This action stimulates certain enzymes that break down and eliminate triglyceride-rich particles from the blood, effectively reducing triglyceride levels. Fenofibrate also modifies LDL cholesterol particles, making them less likely to build up in the arteries.

• Store Favros F Tablet 10 tablets at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep the product in a tightly closed container to protect it from light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Maintain a diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol, as they may increase lipid levels in your blood, which this medicine is meant to manage.
• Regular physical activity is also recommended as it can help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, thus enhancing the effect of Favros F Tablet 10.
