Espin MT Tablet ER is a combination of two medicine that assist regulate excessive blood pressure and heart rate. It is also used to treat chest pain from the heart, irregular heart rhythms, and chronic (long-term) heart failure. Espin MT Tablet ER can be taken with or without meals at any time of day, however it is preferable to take it at the same time each day. Continue to take it for as long as your doctor suggests. Do not stop taking this drug on your own, even if you are feeling fine, because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Your condition may worsen if you stop taking it. Blood pressure can be controlled by staying active with regular exercise, losing weight, and eating a balanced diet. While taking this medicine, follow your doctor's instructions. Headaches, ankle edoema, a slowed heart rate, and nausea are all possible adverse effects. It may also make you dizzy, so do not drive or do anything else that requires mental concentration until you know how this medicine affects you. This may cause an increase in potassium levels in the blood, therefore avoid potassium-rich foods and supplements. During treatment, you may be asked to have your blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes levels checked on a frequent basis. If you have any liver or renal problems, tell your doctor before taking it. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should seek medical advice before taking this medicine. You should also tell your doctor about any other medicine you are taking, especially those for high blood pressure or heart problems.
