CompositionErope 1000 MG Injection 1 is used for managing severe bacterial infections, including skin infections, pneumonia, stomach infections, urinary tract infections, blood infections (sepsis), brain infections (meningitis), and febrile neutropenia in adults. It contains meropenem, which inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively killing bacteria. It belongs to the carbapenem class of antibiotics.
This injection is also given to adult patients with a fever and low neutrophil count, where a bacterial infection is suspected. It also helps manage fevers in neutropenic patients suspected to be caused by bacterial infections.
