Eporise 2000 Injection 1.0ml is primarily prescribed for managing symptomatic anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD). It belongs to the anti-anaemic medication group.
This injection is also commonly used in adults undergoing chemotherapy for solid tumours, malignant lymphoma, or multiple myeloma (a type of bone marrow cancer) to prevent the need for frequent blood transfusions. Additionally, this injection is administered to moderately anaemic adults who may donate their own blood prior to elective surgeries, allowing them to receive this blood back during or post-surgery, thus minimising reliance on donor blood.
Before starting this injection, it is vital to inform your doctor about any underlying medical conditions, allergies, and all current medications to avoid potential drug interactions and ensure the best treatment outcome. Report any side effects immediately to your healthcare provider, and follow the prescribed dosage and duration strictly as advised by your doctor for optimal efficacy.
