Engerix B Injection 10 ML is used to:

Help prevent hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection
Provide protection against hepatitis B infection in adults at increased risk of exposure
Help prevent hepatitis B infection in healthcare workers and other high-risk individuals
Help prevent hepatitis B infection in patients undergoing haemodialysis or those with increased exposure risk

Follow these instructions while receiving Engerix B Injection 10 ML:

This vaccine should be administered only by a healthcare professional.
The injection is given according to the vaccination schedule advised by your doctor.
Complete all recommended doses for full protection against hepatitis B infection.
Inform your doctor if you develop a fever or severe illness before vaccination.
Do not self-administer unless specifically instructed by your healthcare provider.

Engerix B Injection 10 ML is administered intramuscularly.

Engerix B Injection 10 ML may cause side effects such as:

Pain or soreness at the injection site
Redness or swelling at the injection site
Mild fever
Fatigue
Headache
Muscle pain

Management Of Side Effects:

These antibodies help provide immunity and reduce the risk of hepatitis B infection during future exposure to the virus.

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding
