Earfix Ear Drops 5ml

Earfix Ear Drops 5ml are used to combat fungal and bacterial infections contributing to the outer ear infection. This medicine reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching associated with the infection, helping to alleviate ear pain, fluid discharge, and overall ear discomfort. These drops are generally not used for middle ear infections.

• Hold the bottle in your hand for one or two minutes to warm the solution. Shake the bottle well.
• Gently squeeze the bottle and instil 4 to 5 drops of solution in the ear. 
• Press the skin flap in the ear and lie down for 60 secs to let the medication enter the ear canal.
• Repeat steps for another ear if necessary. Tighten the bottle cap after use.

• Earfix Ear Drops 5ml are administered topically by instilling them directly into the ear. It should not be ingested orally or administered through any other route.

The activities of the active ingredients in Earfix Ear Drops 5ml are as follows:

• Beclometasone: Beclometasone is a corticosteroid. It reduces inflammation and itching in the ear. It helps to decrease swelling and discomfort caused by the infection.
• Clotrimazole: Clotrimazole is an antifungal ingredient. It fights against fungi that may be present in the ear, helping to treat fungal infections.
• Neomycin: Neomycin is an antibiotic. It fights against bacteria that may be causing the ear infection, helping to clear the infection.
• Lidocaine/lignocaine: It is a numbing agent. It temporarily reduces pain and discomfort in the ear by numbing the area.

• Store Otobiotic ear drop at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Earfix Ear Drops 5ml away from children.
• Do not use this after the expiry date has passed.

• Keep the affected ear clean and dry. Avoid inserting cotton swabs or other objects into the ear canal, as it can cause further irritation or damage.
• Gently clean the outer part of the ear with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid excessive cleaning or aggressive scratching, as it may worsen the condition.
• Minimise water exposure, especially when dealing with otitis externa. Moisture can promote the growth of bacteria or fungi, prolonging the infection.

• Do not touch the dropper to the ear while instilling the drops.
• Even if you start feeling better, continue with the treatment.
• Keep your infected ear clean and dry while using the drops.
• Do Not use these drops on perforated eardrums.
