DROTIN INJECTION 2ML is used to:

• Manage spasms associated with gallbladder and biliary tract disorders
• Manage renal and urinary tract spasms
• Help relieve gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasms when oral treatment is not suitable
• Manage painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhoea)
• Support management of labour-related cervical spasms under medical supervision

DROTIN INJECTION 2ML is administered intravenously or intramuscularly.

DROTIN INJECTION 2ML contains the following ingredients:

• Drotaverine (40 mg): It is an antispasmodic medicine that works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the abdomen, urinary tract, and biliary tract. It helps relieve spasms, abdominal cramps, and pain associated with smooth muscle contractions.
• Absolute Alcohol (8%): It is present as an excipient in the injectable formulation.

• Store DROTIN INJECTION 2ML below 25°C.
• Protect the injection from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date mentioned on the pack.

• Avoid excessive alcohol intake during treatment, as it may worsen dizziness and low blood pressure.
• Drink adequate fluids unless otherwise advised by your doctor.
• Avoid very oily or spicy foods if abdominal discomfort is severe.
• Follow dietary advice provided by your doctor for gallbladder or urinary tract-related conditions.
