Dompan Tablet is used to manage peptic ulcers and acid-related digestive conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reflux esophagitis, and acidity. It helps reduce stomach acid production and relieves symptoms like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, bloating, and acid-related stomach discomfort.

Swallow the whole Dompan Tablet with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Dompan Tablet should be taken orally.

Dompan Tablet may cause diarrhoea, stomach pain, flatulence, dry mouth, dizziness, and mild abdominal discomfort. If these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Managing the Side Effects:

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless, which resolve on discontinuing Dompan Tablet. However, if you experience any serious side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

Dizziness: Take it easy and avoid sudden movements. Sit or lie down until it passes.

Dompan Tablet contains the following components:

Domperidone (10 mg): It is a dopamine antagonist that helps to improve the movement of food through the digestive system. It works by blocking a specific receptor in the digestive tract, which increases the contractions of the muscles and helps food move more smoothly.
Pantoprazole (20 mg): It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for producing acid in the stomach. By reducing the amount of acid, pantoprazole helps to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and allows the healing of peptic ulcers.

Pregnancy

Is it safe to use the Dompan Tablet during pregnancy?
