Dompan Tablet 10

Dompan Tablet is used to manage peptic ulcers and acid-related digestive conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reflux oesophagitis, and acidity in adults, easing related digestive discomfort.

Uses of Dompan Tablet are:

• Acid Reflux and GERD: Relieves heartburn, indigestion, and irritation caused by excess stomach acid.
• Peptic Ulcers: Supports healing of the stomach and food pipe lining.
• Digestive Discomfort: Eases bloating, nausea, vomiting, and a feeling of fullness after meals.

• Swallow the whole Dompan Tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Dompan Tablet should be taken orally.

Dompan Tablet contains the following components:

• Domperidone (10 mg): It is a dopamine antagonist that helps to improve the movement of food through the digestive system. It works by blocking a specific receptor in the digestive tract, which increases the contractions of the muscles and helps food move more smoothly.
• Pantoprazole (20 mg): It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for producing acid in the stomach. By reducing the amount of acid, pantoprazole helps to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and allows the healing of peptic ulcers.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Dompan Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Instead of large meals, opt for smaller portions throughout the day. It helps prevent excessive stomach acid production and reduces the likelihood of acid reflux.
• Alcohol can aggravate symptoms of GERD and delay ulcer healing. Limit alcohol consumption to improve your condition.
• Eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly for proper digestion and reduce the risk of acid reflux. Take your time while eating, and avoid rushing.
• Sit up straight while eating and avoid lying down immediately after meals. It helps prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the oesophagus.
