Dermotrex Gel 30Gm

Dermotrex Gel 30gm is used for:

• Managing severe psoriasis in adults unresponsive to conventional treatments.
• Reducing inflammation, redness, and scaling of the skin.
   

• Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
• Apply a thin layer of Dermotrex Gel 30gm directly onto the affected patches of skin as instructed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands after use, unless the hands are the treated area.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not cover the treated area with bandages unless specifically instructed by your doctor.

Dermotrex Gel 30gm is meant for external topical use only. 
 

Dermotrex Gel 30gm contains the following active component:

• Methotrexate (1%): Methotrexate interferes with folic acid metabolism by inhibiting the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase. This disrupts DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis in rapidly dividing cells, thereby slowing the growth of abnormal skin cells in psoriasis and reducing inflammatory activity.

• Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
• Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from heat and moisture.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Avoid alcohol and smoking, as they worsen side effects and reduce treatment effectiveness.
• Follow a balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruits, and omega-3 fatty acids to reduce inflammation.
• Stay hydrated and maintain regular sleep patterns to support overall well-being.
• Manage stress effectively through relaxation techniques, as stress can trigger psoriasis flare-ups.
