Cytogard Tablet is used to treat angina pectoris, a condition where chest pain occurs due to reduced blood flow to the heart. It helps alleviate discomfort by improving blood circulation and heart function.

Here's how you should take your Cytogard Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Always follow your doctor's advice on when and how to take this medicine.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule.

• Never adjust your dosage without consulting with your doctor first.

Cytogard Tablet is taken orally.

Cytogard Tablet contains Trimetazidine (20 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Prevents Drop in Cellular Energy: Trimetazidine prevents a decrease in cellular energy levels, ensuring that heart cells function properly.

• Improves Mitochondrial Metabolism: Trimetazidine improves the metabolism inside the mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell) of your heart cells. It does this by inhibiting the uptake and oxidation of fatty acids and promoting glucose oxidation.
