Crotorax Hc Cream 10gm

Crotorax-HC Cream is used to treat scabies, reduce itching, redness, and inflammation caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabies, and manage other skin conditions like lichen planus and chronic eczema.

Use Crotorax-HC Cream as follows:

• Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of cream to all skin surfaces from your neck down to your feet.

• Pay special attention when applying the cream to creases and folds such as those between your fingers and toes, under your breasts, and in your groin area.

• Leave the cream on for 8-14 hours (or overnight) before washing it off.

• Repeat this application process 24 hours later or as prescribed by the doctor.

Crotorax-HC Cream is applied topically.

Crotorax-HC Cream contains two active ingredients:

• Crotamiton (10%): This is a scabicide that works by an unknown mechanism to kill scabies mites. Its antipruritic effects help soothe itching, likely due to the cooling sensation it offers upon application.

• Hydrocortisone (0.25%): This is a mild corticosteroid that helps manage inflammation, itching and redness associated with scabies. It works by reducing the release of inflammatory substances in your body.

• Keep Crotorax-HC Cream in a cool, dry place not exceeding 30°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep the medication tube tightly after use.

• Ensure it's out of children's reach.

• Maintain good personal hygiene. Regularly wash your clothes, towels, and bedding to prevent scabies mites from spreading.

• Incorporate immune-boosting foods into your diet. Items rich in vitamins C and E, such as citrus fruits and leafy greens, can help strengthen your body's ability to manage scabies.
