Clinidip Ch 10mg/12.5mg Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults. It is a combination medicine containing cilnidipine and chlorthalidone, and belongs to the class of antihypertensive medicines.
This medicine combines a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels with a diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water, together lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of stroke and heart attack. Take this medicine with breakfast in the morning, in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Staying active with regular exercise, losing weight if needed, and eating a balanced diet can help further control blood pressure alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, and about any other medicines you are taking, before starting this medicine. This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness or headache in some people. Report any unusual swelling, dizziness or muscle weakness to your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so, even if you are feeling fine, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
